Amelia

Amelia was born just a day after my birthday. Well, she was "forced out" since we induced her out before my due date due to a few reasons. I always joked that's why she tends to be more fussy and grumpy.

She is really not an easy baby to take care of as compared to her *easy going* sister. Minus the occassional tantrums and her hyperactive nature, Amanda is really much easier to handle. Amelia is the kind who will scream and whine for attention and it really gets on your nerves especially when you are tired and sleep deprived and when there is a mountain of chores waiting to be done.

However, she will give you the sweetest smile first thing in the morning when she opens her eyes That just melt your heart and soothes all the nerves haha!

Her mega watt smile when she sees you!

Do it with your heart

The other night, Daddy was carrying Amelia and he got really tired of handling her and asked Amanda to entertain Amelia by playing Peekaboo with her. (Amelia loves it whenever Amanda plays Peekaboo)

As Amanda was busy well playing game on the ipad (I been trying to reduce the amount of time she spends on it even though it can be educational stuffs), she did the Peekaboo half heartedly and Amelia just stared blankly at her.

Daddy said " Can you do it with your heart?" (He meant for Amanda to concentrate on playing Peekaboo)

Amanda then placed one hand on her chest (her heart) and said "Peekaboo!"

Double As

I just realised that it has been more than half a year since I last updated my blog! I really hope I can update more often.

Life with 2 kids is just busy, busy and busy!

My days passed by with me starting the morning feeding the girls, getting the elder one ready for school and rushing to work and ended with me rushing home after work, spending whatever little time I have with them and getting them to bed and doing some chores. There is really not enough time and there is so much to do. There are times I wish I could spend more time with them. Other times, I am glad to be at work and it can be so overwhleming handling the two of them. The younger one needs a lot of carrying and is not happy to be lying down or be in one position for a longer time and she naps really little in the day which makes it almost impossible and difficult to do much things. I hope she will grow out of this soon and well give everyone a breather haha.

Tempers flare at times but other times are pure joy watching the girls playing and laughing. The elder one sometimes can make you laugh your heads off with her innocence and funny conversation.

My two cutie pies!
