This year before Chinese New Year, my company's year end closing is terrible! I was working late almost everyday and only had time to do some cleaning on New Year Eve itself.
Chinese New Year Eve
In the morning when I woke up, I had to hastily change the bedsheets, clean up the room, did the laundry. After that, it felt great with a bath and the room was smelling fresh and clean. Daddy drove us out to Hong Lim Square for lunch. He said that Hong Lim Square is closing soon. We used to go Chinatown pretty often in the past before we got married haha. I always say he is like an ah pek. In the evening, I dressed Amanda in the little yellow dress from her Wai Por before going over for reunion dinner. We had steamboat! We were SUPER full that night.

CNY Day 1
I did not take any photos on day 1. We meet up with Amanda's Ah gong for lunch at Muthu's curry at Suntec and went to the River Ang Bao. I was fuming ahhaha cos it was scorching hot, Amanda kept wanting me to carry and I was wearing heels and we walked all the way from Suntec to River Ang Bao and then back to Suntec again where we parked our car. It was totally not enjoyable and I was quite mad actually ahha. Anyway, I was sweating like mad with blisters and hence it affected my mood.
After that we proceeded to Amanda's great grandparents home to bai nian but we did not stay for dinner. As we were all exhausted from the heat, we went home and I cooked a simple dinner for us that evening. Our day 1 ended just like that.
CNY Day 2
On day 2, we went to my mum's place followed by my uncle's place where my paternal grandma is living to bai nian. Afterwhich, we went to my maternal grandma place to bai nian too.

CNY Day 3
CNY day 3 was the most hectic day. We were meeting three groups of people. It happened to be Amanda's 2nd birthday too! We did not plan to celebrate but I was thinking of buying a cake in the evening but it did not materalise. Nevertheless, Amanda had a great day!
Our first stop is to Erlene's 2nd birthday party! Though its Erlene's party, Amanda had a great time cos the decor and cake was Dora theme and she loved them. She also received a present from Auntie May and and Ang pow from Auntie Esther for her birthday. Thanks Aunties!

Group photo but Cayenne was still sleeping2nd stop was to my Mum's place where my aunties and uncles were there. Very re nao! They commented Amanda looks different now and is prettier haha. Amanda received some presents too from her grandaunt and auntie. Thanks!
3rd stop3rd stop was to meet my hubby god brother who came all the way from KL for dinner together with his wife, 4 children and mum. MIL, SIL and her family were there too. We had dinner at a Thai restaurant near my mum's place. The children had lots of fun and Amanda was well taken care of by all the gorgors and jiejies who loved to play with her and took great care of her.
