Orchard Again

We were on leave on Friday and we went to Orchard again. This time, we went to Orchard Central and Somerset 313. I did not know of their existence if hubby never tell me about them. What a mountain turtle I have become................................
Sigh... guess what she is doing.....

The wheels on the bus go round and round.

Cheeky Amanda zao geng!

Waiting for???.................

Father and daughter watching some performance at Orchard Central

Somerset 313

I like Somerset 313 for its layout and space plus its just next to the MRT! Orchard Central is too..... weird and high and seems dangerous and scary when you are on the escalator going up and up.

To Orchard

On Sunday, we make a trip down to Orchard. It was not that crowded probably a lot of people went overseas in view of the long weekend plus the Sitex at expo probably draw some people over there. It was also my first time to ION. Actually, I am not too keen on shopping centres nowadays as compared to last time probably I find that its much easier and cheaper to shop online.

At Metro Paragon trying on the ear muffs and rabbit hairband. Miss A will actually run over to the mirror to have a look when we helped to put on the ear muffs/hairband. Vain pot haha

At Taka atrium with Strawberry shortcake character. Amanda will point to the picture on the strawberry shortcake merchandise and the character and and say *same*

Singapore Flyer with Grannies on 27/11/09

Friday was Hari Raya Haji and Daddy was not working. As we had 5 tickets to flyer which we have bought at half price previously, we decided to bring Amanda's two grannies to the flyer in the evening. Its everyone's first ride in Singapore Flyer.
Can u spot Amanda in the background sleeping while we are feasting on Popeye?

Amanda with wai por (plus with a dazed look cos she just woke up)

Rarely do we take pic together

Amanda with mummy

Seeping on lemon tea

Ready to board the flyer! It feels exactly like boarding an airplane

The flyer cabin

Inside the flyer

Amanda and Daddy

On the way to carpark. Amanda will squat down whenever she sawDaddy taking pic of her hee hee
It was not really a pleasant ride as I was more worried about Amanda vomitting in the cabin cos she was kind of cranky and wanted to be carried most of the time inside the cabin. And she was unusually inactive. I think she has *ju gao zheng* haha while mummy has *amanda vomitting phobia* hee.
Actually, the flyer cabin is very stable and the view is great at night. We have previously went for a ride in Taiwan which was scarier in my opinion as its not totally enclosed like the Singapore Flyer.

Genting Trip 07/11/09 to 09/11/09

We went on a short trip to Genting on 07/11/09 to 09/11/09. Its the first time we brought Amanda there and also our first drive up. The journey took about 4 to 5 hours and Daddy said it was not too tiring and now the drive to Malacca seems easy.
Day 1:-
We departed Singapore at nearly 9am and reached Genting at around 3pm, just nice for checking into the hotel room.

Our stop for lunch on the way to Genting Highlands. Amanda insist on having her fries dipped in chilli sauce!

We had our dinner at the Zi Char at mushroom farm

What's that on the screen? Its some music video and Amanda started dancing and spinning in circle

Mummy piggy backing Amanda

Our dessert after dinner. Gui Lin Gao and Amanda loves it even without honey!

Strolling around after dinner

Day 2:
We bought the pass for outdoor and indoor play and had a good time!

Started our day at AH YAT ABALONE for dim sum though haha

Asked my sister can she take the photo from another angle or not cos I looked so huge. She said its not the camera or angle problem :O

Amanda is *short enough* to get free rides!

She shouted "stop" when the elephant started moving hahaa

The antique car ride. Really antique man since I have taken this ride when I was very young.

Free balloon from the clown but the balloon cannot withstand the torture from Amanda's itchy hand for long and burst not long after

Daddy and mummy sneaked out for a short "date" while Amanda waited impatiently

Some random pics

Teacup ride!

Queuing up for merry go round ride

The merry go round. Not too merry (fun) though in my opinion haha

Inside the monorail which crawled.............

Amanda with wai por and aunties inside the Indoor ferris wheel when Daddy and Mummy went to watch the 4D show

Amanda with Daddy and Mummy on the indoor train ride when Wai por and aunties went to watch the 4D show haha

Indoor boat ride

We had buffet dinner at the restaurant at Genting Highland hotel. Its nice! Amanda ate for free and her stomach was really round after that. She had her mouth full of ice cream here!

Day 3:

We woke up really early so we went round taking photos before meeting Amanda's waipor and aunties for breakfast

She can stay at this machine forever!

After our breakfast at Mary Brown, we left Genting. It was a straight drive with only a few mins stop for toilet. We even had time to go JB for early dinner and some grocery shopping.
It was overall a pleasant trip except that Amanda vomitted when we were going downhill. Genting is a good place for short trips for family. What I like most has to be the weather. I think Daddy's next drive will be to Malacca. Anyone keen?
